Our mission is to help children become critical thinkers by developing their cognitive, physical, and social-emotional skills. We are also dedicated to empowering families to achieve goals through community relationships.

We believe that children are born with inner curiosity and ready to learn. This belief allows us to create environment that encourages first hand experiences though play for our young children. We also strongly value our relationship with parents and are dedicated to fostering the growth of the entire family unit.

Clifford Glover Day Care Center’s goals are to offer high quality learning experiences to children and to help families acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to fulfill their Individual needs while utilizing their unique potential and thus becoming contributing members of society.

Our programs aligned the following goals and standards: NYC School Readiness Goals, Teacher Strategies Goals and Objectives, UPK Department of Education Common Core Standards, NAEYC (National Association of the Education of Young Children) standards, Quality Stars of NY’s standards and St. John’s University Jumpstart reading program objectives. Through the joy of play, children are provided with developmentally appropriate activities that encourage discovery and problem solving. These activities are planned according to the children’s age, individual needs, strengths and interests.

Our Centers operate from 8:00 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday, twelve months of the year.
